Loved this vacation rental. It’s everything you need for a Mountain getaway.
Great view, location and very beautiful condo. The only feedback I have is that the bathtub water wasn't working and when we called the number provided, they told us this can’t be fixed currently and we will get some refund or discount for our stay. But I haven’t heard back yet. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come back.

Very nice condo. Cozy, clean and well appointed. It was the perfect choice for us. Close to the slopes and great food in Banner Elk. I would definitely stay here again!

Bucket List Vacation Road Trip. Satisfied with the room. Absolutely stunning view. The only complaint would concern the beautiful jacuzzi tub and the very small hot water heater. Otherwise, a very wonderful stay.

Overall a quaint condo equipped with all the essentials, tastefully done! Nothing to the owners’ or rental agency’s fault, but had some young guys renting below us who were heavy smokers and quite loud....otherwise worked perfectly and the location was perfect to ski Sugar! Extra pillows and linens for the pullout sofa would have been nice to have....

I loved the place it was beautiful, the only thing was the bed was terrible. I think a new mattress would be good.

We had a great time at this rental unit. The fireplace really adds ambiance and heat to the space! The kitchen is in top notch condition and the large bed was comfy too. Being on the top floor it does get quite warm but opening the windows up helped a great deal. We enjoyed our stay.

The unit is very well decorated and appointed. We enjoyed our stay. We had some issues with the coffee machine and tv in the living room but the management company were able to send a loaner coffee machine within a few hours. Highly recommend the unit!

Awesome cabin-like feel with an amazing patio.
Only negative point includes cleanliness. Hot tub still had old hair in it.
Very friendly and helpful property management. Only other note was they weren't following mask protocols and there may be high-risk customers coming in.

Great views from the living room and kitchen overlooking the valley and the mountains in the background. Nice deck porch we got to use between the little bit of snow that fell. The place was easy to get to even though it was on top of the mountain. There is a warning in the winter months to bring snow chains or a four wheel drive, but we were lucky and didn't need them. Management was very nice and helped us to locate the property with maps suggestions. Got to to a little tubing and zip lining while we were there, and had a great time. Would recommend it for anyone looking for unobstructive mountain views.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Sugar Mountain Resort over the weekend. We checked in late due to travel restrictions, and it took us almost 3 hours to find our cabin and get settled in. The instructions in the packet for late arrival didn’t really give the best instructions. It would have been a better experience if someone at the office set our expectations that the office is not located on the resort and that finding the cabin would be like finding Carmen Sandiego. However, once we got settled the condo was nice and clean. It took a while for us to figure out how to get the entire place warm but we got there. We loved how the resort had the activities but didn’t find out until later there was a shuttle who could have picked us up to avoid driving. It was super crowded so parking was a mess. We went snow tubing for the first time and we really enjoyed ourselves. The lines were long and not organized but we got through it. Overall nice location with friendly people.

The balcony view is beautiful. The place could use some extra heat in the bedroom, especially on the night it got down to 19 F. BRRRR top floor and 20MPH wind didn't help...extra blankets were available so not complaining!
The condo was clean and very pretty. The coffee pot does not work properly and that was a bummer for a minute...twice it overflowed the filter and got grains in the coffee. We thought that is was simply because we used a 1-4 cup filter and made 10 cups of coffee so we picked up 8-12 cup filters at the Food Lion and it happened again. But there was a kettle and we used it to manually pour hot water into the filter, holding it over the coffee pot. LOL Slow but effective! The Jacuzzi was jam-up, especially needed after a day of skiing. I would stay there again!

we had a good time and the condo had a wonderful view and was well maintained. I already gave a review 4 star.i was hoping to get my security deposit back by now but I'm still waiting. We had to leave a day early because of medical situation so I really hope getting security deposit back won't be a problem.

The property has a killer view. It is nicely updated. Laminate floors are attractive and easy to clean. Kitchen is nicely updated with new cabinets and appliances and is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. Overall, stay was excellent.
