The main level has a fully equipped kitchen complete with granite countertops, a gas range, and stainless steel appliances. It opens to a large great room with vaulted ceilings and a beautiful stone fireplace. Two bedrooms, both with queen size beds, and one bathroom with a large tiled walk-in shower plus a half bath complete the first floor. Take the spiral staircase down to another cozy family room with a fireplace, Twin bunk beds, and a toddler bed. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a luxurious bathroom featuring an oversized bath. Enjoy streaming television on smart TVs. There is a multi-level oversized deck. Private Wi-Fi and a washer and dryer are available for you to use. Whether you are skiing, biking, horseback riding, fly-fishing, rafting, hiking, golfing, antiquing, shopping, wine tasting, or cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway, let this be your High Country "Home Away from Home." This cabin is perfectly located for skiing, tubing and shopping. It’s at the base of the mountain and the last one along the dead end street. On the main floor there are 2 bedrooms (each with a full bed), a full bath, and half bath and the living room and kitchen. Kitchen could use some pot holders and a pizza cutter, but overall is a perfect open floor plan. To get downstairs you do have to go down a winding staircase- fun for kids, a little more challenging for adults. Downstairs has a bedroom with queen bed and on suite full bath with better tub. We could not get the jets to work but the tub was perfect for the kids to bathe. Downstairs also has another full living room and bunk bed along with washer and dryer in a closet. It was the perfect kids area for our ski week! We would definitely stay here again when skiing at Sugar Mountain.

We enjoyed our short stay of two nights. We had a couple minor concerns not really addressed by management company. Kitchen could be better equipped and although it was clean and well decorated it was a bit dusty.

I rented this property for a Christmas getaway with my 3 adult children. It was such a wonderfully relaxing time. The property offered everything we could need for our stay and was the perfect home away from home! To make the experience even better, we were blessed with a big snowstorm the night we arrived, giving my kids their first white Christmas! We definitely fell in love with the mountains and can’t wait to come back!
This house was perfect for our family weekend get away. It fit my family of 6 with a bunk bed to spare. We were so impressed with the extra's - comfy blankets and bedding, high-end kitchen appliances and cookware, mountain/ski themed decorations, etc. This house really is a step above the average rental!
